Jes has blog such a comprehensive entry on China Beijing that i feel whatever i blog would be akin to hers hahaa.. The things that i appreciate after i return in Singapore is the cleanliness of our city and that we actually can handle cash w/o fear of counterfeits!

In China, the toilets are SOOOO horrible, mayb beijing is slightly better ba but the places i went to, either NO DOORS, THE PEOPLE DONT LOCK DOORS, NO FLUSH, FLUSH SPOILT or just simply a drain for u to urinate!!!!! even hotel toilet also damn jialat, out of 5 diff hotels, we met toilet bowl stuck in 2 hotels (u can even see the shit swirling inside the bowl, YUCKS)

Their counterfeit problem is so serious that every note 1 handle, u have to check its authentity. And unless in big shopping malls, u can only use small notes in streets (pasar malam), cause either u get cheated if not high probability u will get a fake note for change.

The things there are DAMN CHEAP! which makes me feel quite cheated for first 5 days of our journey. We were bought to silk, pearl, jade and tea production factory. And u can imagine the amount we spend there lah.. but the actual selling price is only 30% of listed price lor!!! He bought a jade pendantfor RMB 500 when the listed price is RMB1700!! Then bargin for anthr jade ring for RMB 85 when the listed price is RMB400!

Only last 2 days then we manage to walk ourselves in SHanghai, and as what jess said, the distance we covered is at least 20km lor.. we walked nonstop for 15hours in 2 days lor til my leg wan dropped dead.. and only the last day we manage to go to clothes warehouse street at Qi Pu Lu, same logic goes BARGAIN BARGAIN BARGAIN haha...

Moral of story: everything have to bargain at 30% of listed price.

And finally we manage to take the MRT train and even the local bus! so many little funny incidents. Like we were hesitant to go Qi Pu Lu coz the tour guide says its v messy thr and no train can reach. At end we still decided to go ahead so we ask a bakery staff which is the nearest station to alight. Thn she say we can take a bus and it will only cost us RMB4. So we took a bus, i dropped a RMB5 into the box and wanting to drop more coins, the bus conductor looked at me with awe and ask whr we are heading. Whn we said Qi Pu LU, she says only need RMB2 per person.. haha.. den no choice i say nvm the other dollar can serve as tips haa...

And being travelling to a scenic places in Jiangsu, we took many boat rides:

1st ride at a small river at 苏州,

2nd ride at 三国城 无锡, the place where they build to shoot the serial show

3rd ride at 西湖 杭州

And the last ride at Shanghai
