We finally booked the wedding banquet today at parkroyal @ beach road for 1st May 2010. We even won the 12th prize (there are only 12 prizes), 1 bottle of red and 1 bottle of white wine for the confirmed draw! At least we won something considering that there are at least 40 couples who signed up.
We also went to pay off the remaining deposit for our KIA Cerato Forte. We should be able to get our car in 3 weeks time! and after further bargaining, our sales agent promise to give us the solar film, visor and car mat! Well, considering that we sign up without bargaining at all, i think she's kind enough to give us those items now.
We also went to buy my diamond ring yesterday! Not destinee but true love :) Saw the true love poster ad on tuesday which states that it's having one-for-one promotion; if you purchase true love solitaire ring, it will give the amount carat of earrings. Told yy about the promotion and we went SK on Fri night to take a look. The salesmen was nice and kind, explaining to us the offer and the 4Cs (cut, clarity, carat, colour). We wanted to look at more diamonds and he actually for arrange for them to be picked up from other store and so we went down on sat to look again.
Was contemplating between the 0.443/G/VS2/ASG cert @ $2,600 or the 0.48/F/VS1/GIA cert @ $3,600. Of course the $2.6k ring looks like a better offer with its better certification and cheaper price tts more to his budget but I personally prefer the bigger one. And so, we bought the 0.48 ring hahaha... For $3,600, we got the 0.48 ring, the pair of earrings at 0.2+ each side, the jewellery box and the member card which the salesmen load the 100 plus pts inside, isn't it so great a deal? heh..
so now, with everything in place, lets await 1st May 2010!
